I said ok, who is this really? And the voice said, definitely smoking but you should go shopping because there is no food here. And I said, you don't need food if there's coffee and cigarettes.

Oh my god, that is an amazing teacup. I am surprised they still sell it. It's like the Marilyn Monroe of teacups, all tiny waist and spilling out the top.

Mine is very old.

nah... i meant really just the one teacup and saucer -- set enough for me. there is an antique shop on glebe point road that used to have the green (pistachio) and purple (lilac) ones in the window. i think they are still there. i feel nervous drinking out of the cup -- it is so very delicate.

Oooh. I might like to go and see the other tea cups and say hello to them. Maybe I will even buy them, depending on the price, I am not a lady with a lot of spare money for tea cups.

If anyone out there would like to become my weird stalker you may commence by buying me nice tea cups.

I shall just have to go on my own. I might go on the bus. Sometimes I like to catch the bus. I like buses on a Saturday when time is elastic and purpose is loose. I like the idea of catching a bus to Glebe, buying one beautiful tea cup then sitting in a cafe to read. I shall wear a dress and a cardigan. I will brush my hair as though is 1933. This will be my time travel. I will be I for Isobel.

I have a teacup you might like. I bought it with the intention to set up a crazy online store but that idea died in 3 hours. So now I have a teacup and saucer (white with gold trim) featuring a handpainted profile portrait of a man playing lawnbowls. I will try to get you a photo.
