Come on now help me out a little

My excellent friends from Tasmania are environmental activists, one of them once had the shit beaten out of him by the police, which is bad. They are planning one action per week until the election is called. This is fabulous, the only problem being that that is a lot of actions to think of so I volunteered to help come up with some ideas which leads to the further problem of me not having any ideas apart from making giant paper mache flamingos and lining the streets with them.

Do you have any ideas?

Not at the moment Dale but I might be able to cure your hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia given a few days on a hammock wielding a kitchen whisk.

But what is the kitchen whisk for!

I have no idea, I think it is just decoration. The cure came from a Snake Oil merchant I met one day at the Docklands, he was very sensible, he even gave me a whisk.

Now it all makes perfect sense, docklands snake oil merchants are renowned for their free sets of kitchen whisks with every bottle of oil deals.

I don't really have one, unless you add a Southern peninsula.

Oh dear! Try tucking between legs, might turn out that you had one all along.

No word on legality of sending your old growth to the environment minister?
I'm looking forward to action like that making the news, and knowing that we have had a part in its conception.
And thankyou for the mental image of Creamboy with a "mangina".

I will put on my law talking hat and research that just as soon as I can. Unfortunately I have been very busy and important and in an all day meeting at the Australia Council for The Arts, work stuff etc Do you know that if you go for an all day meeting at Ozco that they don't let you make tea or coffee, don't provide biscuits and you even have to have your own cup if you want a drink of water. This more than anything proves to me that the arts are underfunded in Australia. Boo Mr Howard. Boo.

Perhaps you should have asked them what they thought... and brought along some clippers and a large plastic bag...

I've asked a few workmates if they would send their old growth to Mr Turnbull, and strangely they have offered to give ME their old growth, to send on to him... I feel both flattered that they trust me to be a custodian of their old growth, and disturbed.

Oh no. Don't do anything until I determine whether or not this is would be a legal way to protest. I am all for protest. I am all for breaking the law to protest when necessary but I'm not sure that it would productive to protest in this way if it is in fact in breach of some Act.

Ah, not the Don't Post Your Pubes to Ministers Act? I'm pretty sure that only applied to Ministers of Religion, but I might be mistaken.
